Franklin has always dreamed of being brave—but he soon learns that courage isn't always about being the strongest or the loudest. When Franklin meets Sergeant Richard Harris, an old Army veteran who carries memories of a difficult time in his life, Franklin discovers that some heroes don't wear capes. As Franklin spends time with the old soldier, he begins to understand that courage can mean many things: facing fear, helping others, keeping a promise, and finding the strength to move forward even when the past is painful. True courage isn't the absence of fear. It's doing what is right even when you're afraid.
